I had turned off my Directv service and got Xfinity (worst idea ever) and Directv did not ever turn my service off. Well now I

If the dish is still in place it is not hard. Connect the cable from the dish to the DTV receiver. Connect the DTV receiver to TV via HDMI. If your service was never turned off it should work right away.
