No one at ASUS 800 help desk could help me with this question. I bought an ASUS TP 500LA-AS53T mainly because of its backlit keyboard. It's one of the laptop./tablet 360 degree flip models. A. Someone please tell me the description was correct and this make/model does have a backlit keyboard and B. how the heck do you turn it on?

From my short investigations, it sounds like perhaps only the Best Buy version has a backlt keyboard. If you scroll down this page to read the questions section, that's what it sounds like:
