So i got an i5 4570 with an 760 gtx and 8gigs of ram desktop at home.
I want to buy a laptop for programming in visual studio, eclipse, learning javascript/html/css, playing cs go and heroes of the storm.
I'll take the laptop at college and i was thinking at an i3-4000M clocked at 2.4 with 4 gb of ram(1 slot is available so i'll put 4 more if needed) and intel hd graphics.
Is this laptop enough for programming ?

Solution
I program with less specs at college using their computer. Concern about reliability. Asus and toshiba are good if you are going for a budget laptop. Gaming laptops like sager, msi, and Asus ROG are good if you want to game too

the programming thing is mostly what's between your ears and not what's in the hardware. though learning to use all kinds of hardware should certainly be a part of it i think. i did use the asus x205ta to look at most of my python course- to do the course itself, read the text (a pdf) and to write and review python code.
