I'm planning to start streaming/making youtube videos so I'm getting a blue yeti, but I really can't come up with a good headset, I was gonna get a pair of logitech but it's kinda pointless since they got a mic tho it would be nice to switch between the two.
But is there any headset that has surround sound and would go well with a yeti?

For surround I'm not sure. Most gaming headsets with surround come with a mic. I would recommend the Sennheiser HD 558's. They produce outstanding sound quality and are super comfortable. However they are open back and do not feature surround sound. The open back helps by adding a much better sound stage, but the sound will leak considerably. If you really want that surround sound experience however, I would HIGHLY recommend the Hyperx Cloud 2. They have amazing sound quality for a gaming headset, great surround sound, and have a detachable mic so if you dont need it, dont use it! And they are about 100 US dollars.

I really appreciate your reply since this section of the forum is kind of slow. Do you think the hyperx cloud 2 would be better than the logitech and astro headsets soundwise? The hyperx is pretty good looking too and looks comfortable, I'll look more into it later but do you know the good and bad about it from personal experience?

I have used that cloud 2 and I can happily say that they sound better than astro a40s. My friend has a pair of a40s, and I used to have a pair of cloud 2's. The cloud 2's sound a lot cleaner and more full in the bass. Treble is also very good on them as well. I have not used a Logitech headset before, but I have heard that the seal against the ear is not very well on them. My only issue with the cloud 2 is that the cable does wiggle in the headset if you put some force on the cable. its nothing wrong, all headsets will do that, but I know a few reports of people saying that they did not work or one speaker only worked. But you really should not worry about it as that issue is not common at all. The build quality on them is superb with metal joints and a very flexible headband. If you get them all I'll recommend is to not pull on the cable with a huge amount of force, but I recommend that with any headset that has an attached chord. I hope this helps and your streaming and YouTube goes very well, I have my own channel and it does take commitment and work, but its an absolute joy to do it :)
