Need A New Laptop For Gaming And Video Editing

1. What is your budget?
$2,000 If it is worth to go a little higher for a better laptop then I might consider.

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?.
No size really I last owned a Razer Blade which I think was a 17".

3. What screen resolution do you want?
I do not need really anything other then like 1080p.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
I am replacing my Razer Blade and this is only for when im on the go.

5. How much battery life do you need?
Not much have wall connections just about everywhere I go.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Well seeing how laptops are going now I would say I mainly play GTA 5, WoW, League Of Legends, Battlefield 4 and Borderlands.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Would love to do some video editing when im on the go but I know storage can be a bit of a problem.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
At least 1TB and it does not need to have SSD Capability.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
I use Newegg quite a bit but have never bought a laptop from them.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
I will prolly keep it as long as it can play the games I need but after that will just use it for possibly web searching and video editing after.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Would love to have a BLU Ray player in it if I want to watch some movies.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
I have had Razer and it was ok but to me it was more Aesthetic to the eyes then there was power. Loved it at times hated it at other times.

Basically it is a sad day and after I went to a buddy's house I was putting stuff in my car and packing up my stuff from a LAN party and then apparently someone from the street had actually stolen my Blade and all the equipment that went with it. Did not notice it till next morning when I went to unload everything. It sucks because I could have given it to a family member since it was running short on the gaming side of things now. But anyway this is why I am currently looking for a new laptop with hopefully more capability to do more things. I am afraid that if I get a laptop with an SSD that with my video editing it will significantly wear out the SSD since that is what has happening to my main desktop but maybe I just had a bad one. I would love to hear what you guys think I should get. I was currently looking at the ASUS ROG G751JT type of things but want to know if I should upgrade it to have a bigger graphics card for more future proofing.

If anyone could help or at least point me in the right direction. I am still fairly new to mobile gaming/ video editing. I would rather ask people who have had more experience then me in this field especially since the price to do something like this is quite expensive. If I left anything out please let me know and I will try to answer it.
