Can't view photos on camera or open when I've downloaded them

I have files on my SD card which my camera says is unrecognisable format so I can't view them, however I did view them as I took them and scrolled through viewing a few too. When I try and download them to my mac, using various programs (photoshop, canon software, finder window and browsing for the files) the files do not open. I think somehow they've been corrupted somehow, but all the jpeg recover options I've tried haven't worked. The photos were taken using a Canon Ixus 860is, I can view and download photos that I took before and after these 70 odd files that won't work.

you can check your SD card is can to use or no.

I'm having the same issue with my SD card. I have about 300 out of 1000 pics I shot that for some reason won't display. Did you ever figure it out?
