I've heard that the parts like CPU,GPU and Ram price go down due to new hardware. Can you give some examples?

Solution
Well, we can expect a drop in prices of GPU's when the Radeon R9 3xx series come out. nVidia will drop prices to compete and AMD will drop prices a bit after the release to get rid of older models from their stock.

Yes...everytime a new generation of GPUS/CPUS/RAM etc etc are released, the price of older components goes down.

A little at first and then more and more as the newer components take over.

An example would be, the price of the Radeon R9 290x's price upon the release of Nvidia's GTX970. As this newer, more efficient card could trade blows and beat the AMD card in many games or match it in others, AMD had to drop the price.

This happens all the time when you look at components across all categories.

There are some rare and more exclusive components which don't lose value, even though their specs get less and less relevant. Take a GTX Titan Black for example, which is stil las expensive and even worse value than it was on release.

They aren't ripoffs as such, they merely don't represent the best value for money.

A Titan X delivers easy 4k performance on great settings and fps, with a single GPU. It costs $1000 plus.

This isn't a ripoff, it's merely a unique (currently) offering, aimed at the enthusiasts and people who hate all the problems SLI/Crossfire gives you (such as the 295x2).

Infact, every time a Titan came out it offered unique performance with a single GPU (except the Z). It's just a niche.

Bugatti's aren't ripoffs, they are simply unique and offer something no other car does, at least not in the same way.

Again, I disagree. Also I think you have the definition of ripoff wrong.

They don't drop prices as these cards aren't produced in high numbers and are sold in small quantities. There are business reasons behind this. There is no ripoff there. It does what it says.

The 970 GTX is a ripoff as it doesn't actually do what Nvidia said it does when it was released (3.5 GB VRAM instead of 4).

970 actually has a great price to performance ratio, I'd gladly get it if I had the budget to accomodate it in.
That 3.5GB is trully a big problem, but as I see, the card still holds as the king of its price point. Technically, it has 4GB installed but yeah, it's still a problem

Except...it's labelled incorrectly, as most people agree. This is the classic ripoff scenario.

I agree it has good performance to price etc. however you were making a different point.

Titan's do what they promise. Hence they can't be labeled a ripoff.
