Will this item in my Description below charge my PS Vita? Or must it be 1.5AMPS?

Solution

Yes, I recently bought a new power pack for my Super famicon, the old one is 9VDC 0.9A, the new one is 9VDC 1.2A, famicon is running great, just like new, no issues what so ever, the power supply was given to me at the store after I brought the dead one to them and showed them, guy just gave it to me and said this will work.

bought two for travel and they are the best thing since sliced bread. Will charge a smart phone about 5 times, a tablet 1.8 times (while in use watching video no less)...2.2 times if tablet is off...and once if gaming on a tablet while charging.

I would like to ask a question and i hope i do not sound like an idiot but when ever you have a charger like i just posted which puts out 2.1-2.1A when the PS Vita needs 1.5A would that hurt it or would that charge my VIta faster? Does more power mean faster charge? I will also be plugginh my Vita/USB directly from Vita to the Car charger which means it will be getting 2.1A total so could it fry my Vita? And take a look at this i have something similar to what you are talking about and it charges my phone about 5 times and my VIta for 7hours if using it a a power sourse instead of charging it.

If the voltage is correct and the Amps are the right amount or more it should work. The vita should pull the Amps it needs, as devices pull the current or amps that they need, voltage is the issue.
