I have a asus laptop that had windows 8 and I installed 8.1 and I don't like it I want it back

Hello,

My name is Clarisa Lopez I have an asus laptop it did not come with a cd rom and I went to the app store and downloaded windows 8.1 and I thought I would like it but I don't so I went to refresh it and says the drive where the windows is installed is locked and it say unlock it and try again can you help me please thank you Clarisa Lopez

Unless you made a system disc and copied your OS to another drive or media, you can't roll back to 8 from 8.1.

***Edit for clarity.
If you have 8 installed on a hidden drive then you would have to set that as active and do a completely fresh install. You would lose any data that is currently on your drive so back up any important data before proceeding.
