I curently have a 2012 macbook pro i7 with 16gb of ram and 256 ssd. But has no dedicated graphic card and im having a hard time running World of warcraft in ultra settings.

I bought the macbook primary for gopro video editing, but also to play WoW. But i was thinking that i couls run it in ultra but it runs in fair and like 28-32fps.

So i was thinking of selling the macbook pro and buy a MSI GS60 Ghost. But i have find a lot of options. Can someone help me which one to buy?

I read that the nvidia gtx 860m gets too hot and the 850m is better for that computer. But i will like to have the 16gb of ram.

I would like to be able to play Wow and edit my gopro videos smooth. Please help?

The 960M is obviously more expenisve, but I don't think you need it.Go with the 860M version the difference is not that big. Also with the 860M you will definately get smooth gameplay on max settings.

Have a look here:http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/test-centre/laptop/3467286/15-best-gaming-laptops-2015-uk/

No matter which solution you decide upon, I will recommend using a cooling pad for the laptop especially when gaming or other high demanding tasks. It can only help to control temps. BTW, most all "gaming" laptops have an issue with heat - it's the nature of putting high power components in a cramped space.

Get the MSI, if you want to resolve the heat issues then these 2 will help massively.I know it may cost a bit more but it is worth it.

Ok, thanks. Is the nvidia gtx 850m or 860m good or i should lean towards getting a 960 in the newer models, i would like to spend $1300 max on the laptop.
