As it says in the title, I have a problem with my headphones, which are SADES SA-810, and the microphone that is attached to the headphones is picking up any sound that is coming from the headphones, music, game sounds, movie sounds, literally anything that i can hear through the headphones, other people I am talking to over skype or team speak, can also hear it, and the sound is really low, barely i can hear it, and other people can hear it as if it was playing through speakers turned up to max.

I have tried fixing the problem myself doing stuff like downloading realtek and disabling stereo mix in recording devices, but nothing seems to help..

one problem i had with realtek and still the problem persists, is that i can download realtek, and when i try to install it, it doesn't seem to be applied to the headphones and the mic.. as in control panel, where it should say 'realtek sound options' or 'realtek audio' it just says 'Dell audio' and yes my computer is Dell, so i assume it doesn't change because the computer is dell.

I also have tried to go into the Dell audio options and turn on the MaxNR (adaptive background noise reduction) and MaxxEC (advanced Echo Cancellation) but nothing seems to help.

Please help :3

No, whenever i speak i sound normal, it is purely just the background noise that is the problem, e.g. if i play a game, anyone i speak to can hear me fine, it is not too loud or too low, but the problem is they can also hear the game sounds that i hear.. and the game sounds are a lot louder than i am.

See if it still gets sound when you have used the headset volume off (via hardware adjustment, not via windows). If still picks up sounds from your games, then it's either a software issue where it somehow is feeding line out into your mic feed. OR there's crosstalk between your line out and line in cables.

Have you had this problem with other headsets?
