Just got a new laptop and installed avast and comodo. Since I did this I have been unable to connect to optimum wifi hotspot. What settings do I need to tweak to fix this? Thanks!

Solution
Comodo has been one of the most problematic anti-virus apps for me over the years. My suggestion would be to uninstall it completely and use another.

Microsoft Securities Essentials works very well, is completely compatible with Windows, and has been trouble-free for me for all the years I've used it. Better yet, no viruses. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security-essentials-download

I use it in conjunction with Malwarebytes for malware protection. https://www.malwarebytes.org/
Free version run-on-demand, or $25 buys you a license to allow it to run in real-time on any machine you want.
