Hey guys,
I'm just new here and I'd like to get some advice on buying a new laptop. My old one is getting pretty slow, so it's time for a new one for me. I know desktops are way better to play games on but I'm a student so I'll need to take my laptop to college and such, basically a laptop is the thing I need. Now, I like to play games and therefor I would like it if a new laptop could run games like sim city (2015), the sims 4, splinter cell blacklist, battlefield 3, tropico 5, civilization 5 and guild wars 2 fluently on medium settings. I've done some research myself and found this laptop:

Windows 8.1 64
AMD quad-core A10-5745M APU with Radeon HD 8610G Graphics (2,1 GHz, 4 MB cache)
39,6 cm (15,6 inch) Full HD
12 GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB, 1 x 8 GB)
1 TB 5400rpm SATA SSHD
Graphics card: AMD Radeon R7 M260 Graphics (2 GB DDR3L reserved)

Will this be sufficient? or would you recommend to buy a different laptop? My budget is around €750 / $815 / £ 550, maybe a bit more.
I hope you can help me out!

Solution
This is the best laptop you have found so far. It should be able to play all the games, not sure about civ 5 though as it is a cpu intensive game rather than a gpu intensive game.

What kind of laptop would you suggest? My budget may have some flexibility.

EDIT: I found another laptop as well. Which one is better for gaming?

Windows 8.1 64
Intel® Core™ i5-5200U with NVIDIA GeForce 840M (2,2 GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores)
39,6 cm (15,6 inch)
4 GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM (1 x 4 GB)
500 GB 5400rpm SATA SSHD

What would you say about the one I just posted above? Or is 4GB RAM too low?

Hey guys, I found another laptop:
15,6 inch FHD • Intel Core i5-5200U • 8 GB RAM • 1 TB HDD with 8 GB ExpressCache • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M (4 GB)
Do you think I'm able to play the games stated above with this laptop? Or do I need to get a quad core CPU to play the games smoothly?

Solution
This laptop is certainly is better than the first laptop and will be able to handle those games. The only game I am unsure of is civ 5 as it is an cpu intensive game and I don't know how well the is u cpu performs.

As for ram, 4 gigs is ok but I really would get 8 if you can afford it.
