Webroot vs Norton

I have webroot secure anywhere I got free when I purchased my computer at Bestbuy, Would it be worth it to renew webroot for another six months or just save that money and switch to Norton 360 from Comcast. I already use norton on tow of my computers.

Norton is really heavy on the system so if the computer is newer you should be fine using Norton 360 from your ISP, just be very careful when you install it, the ISP version of Norton has PUP's that it will try to install with it. If you need to pay for Norton through your ISP I would just get www.kaspersky.com/ or https://www.emsisoft.com/en/

It's totally free, I have it on two of my computers, the only difference I could find between the retail and comcast norton is the online backup.

Well the ISP version uses the same engine as Norton and it also has the same data base. So the UI might have the ISP logo's everywhere and it might also have some pups sadly, but it still is Norton. So as long as your system with webroot has like 4 gigs of ram and a semi up to date processor you should be fine. They both aren't on my recommendation list, but they do keep most things off your system. Just be sure to install something like Web of Trust on all of your browser for a bit of extra protection. About 85% of the reports that I analyze come from a website that someone clicked on or got redirected over to by mistake. So something like Web of trust will give you another layer of protection from something like that.
