What is the average decibel noise level of a gaming laptop at max load and at idle?

I have a ge60 2pe apache pro. It idles at around 33-35dB and at max load gets to around 45-48db. i'm wondering if that's normal for most gaming notebooks.

Sounds noisy. Is the fan running flat out? Or is something else making the noise?

It's a single fan cooling system. the hard drive is fairly loud as well.

Remove the covers and blow the dust out. See if that quietens it down at all.
