Hi,

My charger only works when slightly pressed in, when left with no force pushing it slowly in the charger does not work. Is this a charger or laptop issue. What would be the best cause of action to resolve this?

Update - The charger doesn't always work when pressed in, only in some positions more often doesn't charge (No orange light)

Most likely you are suffering from a failing power jack. It's a common enough occurrence that some companies specialize in the repair. In some cases it can be a DIY thing to replace the power jack. This video let's you know just what is involved in the repair https
