So the other day i logged off how i usually would after using my pc and the next day i logged on to find that it wasn't detecting my Razer Kraken 7.1 Headset, so i though that it had broken. I then tried plugging in my Turtle beach X12 headset and it didn't detect that either. (These had both previously worked perfectly) It seems like the headsets know they are connected as the lights on them light up as normal but the pc almost seems to just ignore them. so i tried plugging them into different ports and switching stuff around and they still weren't detected. Its weird because my Krakens worked perfectly they day before and now its decided to not detect them. I did some searching on the web and i have restored to the day before it stopped working and it sill doesn't. I had done no windows update or anything between the two days. I have now tried various windows FixIt programs and they have not helped. I have also tried re installing realtek hd audio and the usb 3.0 drivers and that hasn't made a difference either. Any help would be appreciated!

That's a somewhat aged motherboard, unless you bought it recently and simply went with an older chipset due to financial reasons. It wouldn't be all that surprising to find that the USB controller had failed. Try disabling the USB 3.0 "Boost" settings in the BIOS or uninstall any boost utilities related to the motherboard that might be installed in windows.
