Recently I just got a LG 5.1 sound system from a friend, im trying to connect it to my laptop, so that i can have the surround sounds while watching netflix or youtube, but i can only have sounds from the Front Left, Front Right and Sub wuffer no matter how hard i ve tried. I read everything online and tried many ways, but it still not working ( It all work great when i tested, but not when playing music)
My laptop is Asus S300C, The system model number is HT963TA,there is a dvd player (receiver) that came with the speaker, also i have a Samsung blu ray player(if it helps). I dont have Tv, but i use a projector to watch netflix. Im thinking of the Sound blaster x-fi to connect it thru my laptop, but im not sure if it works. Please take a look and help.
