I'm having trouble with getting my headset to work on my PS3. I use a Logitech G430 using the usb to connect to the PS3. I can't hear game sounds, I'm not sure if I can hear game chat or not, but it's really bugging me. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

P.S. I use an Acer 227HQL to connect to my PS3 via HDMI

Solution
From the logitech website.

System Requirements
Windows Vista®, Windows® 7, or Windows 8

It doesn't state it's PS3 compatible, so just because your PS3 has a USB port and you plugged it in, it doesn't mean that it will work, and judging from looking at the webiste, it won't.

You neef to buy a red and white cable to aux in. Then you connect the headset with USB but only the mic plugged in. Then you connect headphone cable to the red and white cable. And voila.
