razor blade 14 vs msi gs60 2qe

i would be using the laptop for gaming, editing, and school i am worried 8gb of ram in the razer is not enough because i would get the 1080p version because the 4k one is too expensive. which one should i get

but i pretty sure the ram on the razer blade is sauntered on and it non upgradable

Yes, the RAM in the Razer blade cannot be upgraded. I am in the same situation - trying to pick an ultraportable gaming laptop that can double as a school laptop - and that non-upgradability is a concern. I'm considering the Gigabyte P34W V3-CF2, which has the same specs as the Razer but can be upgraded. However, it had questionable build quality...
