Hi guys!
I would like to ask if my laptop is similar to a PS4.

My specs:

CPU : I7 3630qm Quad Core 2.4Ghz (Turbo to 3.4Ghz)
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 750m 2GB
Ram: 6GB
OS: Windows 8

Thanks !!

Your CPU is stronger than the PS4's but your GPU is a bit weaker. RAM is a non-issue. But remember you have to deal with the overhead of Windows. And theres always the fact that games made for PS4 are optimized for the PS4, whereas its not so much for Windows. Lastly, some devs are lazy-tastic on PC (see Ubisoft) and they'll make a game that runs on consoles but unable to run on your laptops specs.

Thanks for the answer, really helpful, might consider getting a PS4 because even on lower graphic settings games like Shadow of Mordor and Dying Light are giving FPS drops too often for me to be comfortable playing for too long. Thanks again!

What you should consider is that a PS4 will have overall longer support for the hardware inside in game-wise, whereas PCs do really get out of date faster. Which is off-set by upgrading components. Think about it, the PS3 is like 9 years old, and it still gets things like Far Cry 4, Call of Duty, and like you said, Shadow of Mordor, and its probably still gonna get games this year. Since you have a laptop, probably gonna last 2 more years with that GPU (because its a mid-range 50 class instead of the higher 60/70/80 class).
