I am looking on buying a gaming laptop but I don't know where or who to go to

Honestly, I love Falcon Northwest, but considering they don't do payment plans, or any financing I will have to go elsewhere.

My preferred specs:

1920x1080 display

Intel i7 4810 MQ 2.80 GHz

SD 1600MHz 2x4GB (8GB)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M 8GB

Wifi Card

Crucial m550 m SATA SSD 512GB

SD card Slot

DVD reader (optional)

Anywhere you guys would recommend from experience? Is any of this overboard? If you would change something what would it be?

Shoot, if it saves me money an i5 is totally a viable option. Any suggestions for a good i5 processor?

Thanks for the reference to Origin btw

Eh, I do not recommend i5s since all are dual cores in the mobile world. The best gaming laptops for the price all have a i7 4710MQ or something in the 47xx line.

So just go down a level eh? I guess 48xx is more of editing and rendering?

Yeah basically, the 48xx has faster clock speeds and 2mb more of L3 cache. Then you have the 49xxMX extreme edition which is unlocked.

Alright, but is everything besides the CPU good? I want to have this comp a little bit future proof. At least for 2 years. I know that is asking a bit from a laptop since you can't just open them up and add parts like a desktop rig.

Any input?
