Hard Drive Failure

I have a problem and I was hoping that you could help me !! I can send screenshots of what its doing but I have so far gotten the conclusion that my computer has a Hard-Drive Failure . I have a Dell Inspiron 660 desktop. I was hoping there was a way for me to save my hard drive and retrieve the information off of it . My email is [removed]

My computer is a desktop the is no Catagory for Desktop Support

I assume that this is your boot drive.
I would advise you to connect it to another system either internally through SATA or externally with SATA to USB cable.
If the drive is not recognized by Disk Management, then I guess you may need some professional help from a data recovery company.
If the drive is recognized by Disk Management, see whether it has healthy partitions as well as file system. You may need to use some data recovery tool in order to retrieve the data. Just keep in mind to save any recovered data on another HDD in order not to overwrite the data that is stored on the problematic one. After that, it may be a good idea to test the drive with a tool such as the one that kanewolf suggested. The SMART results will show the HDD's health status.

Well its to late for that now my computer won't let me even log on and where the log on screen is its Blue which means that my hard drive has failed. I wish there was a way to keep this hard drive because I have no clue how to install a new one.
