Hello everyone,

I am looking to buy a laptop but am unfamiliar with what the current market has to offer, and I could use some directions or suggestions. I'll list below my requirements:

- at most it will be used for watching movies on a 50 inch TV through HDMI, and I would prefer a dedicated video card for this; the TV is a Sony 50w815 (or 81b)

- I would prefer its technology to be valid for as long as possible, as I'm unsure what the future is for HDMI and what other display ports are cropping up as viable alternatives

- it will usually be powered from a wall socket, battery life is not important

- I have found Asus laptops to be pretty sturdy and reliable even when made from cheaper materials, so I would choose Asus this time as well

- I live in Romania and will buy the laptop from eMag.ro, our largest retailer; the website is fairly straightforward, and laptop is "laptop" in Romanian, but let me know if you browse the site and need any translations

- there is no actual price limit, the only guideline is to have the lowest price you feel comfortable suggesting for what I'm interested in

Any aspects I haven't mentioned should not be important, but feel free to suggest anything else to consider which I may be overlooking.

Watching TV or streaming HD/UHD using HDMI don't need a dedicated GPU. APU offered from CPUs such as any Intel HD Graphics 4000(intel i3) or Raden R5s(amd A6) or better won't struggle at doing so. A dedicated gpu kicks in when you need to render some serious 3D applications such as games.
