Hey guys, I'm a newbie or say a noob in this field. I've a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E330, core i3, Intel HD 3000, 4gb RAM.
My problem is that the graphics are so weak that I can't play most of the games! ;((
While I know I should've thought this before buying and the price is too low for what I've been asking, but it's too late. I don't have money for building a new gaming PC.
So my question is can I upgrade my graphics of my laptop? If not dedicated, I'm okay with Intel HD 4xxx-5xxx. And I've read about StarTech USB 3.0 to HDMI External Video Card, is it any helpful for my situation?

Solution
i understand your situation, but its not possible to upgrade the internal graphics even intel HD graphics is also. and
StarTech USB 3.0 is mostly useful for you to connect multiple monitor to single graphics card. or a one USB 3.0 to a multiple HDMI monitor.

Okay, I guess I've to build a rig now, IS this a nice GPU for gaming? Can it play most games on low-mid settings? "ASUS GT 630 2 GB DDR3"

Here, http://assembleyourpc.net/rigs/93586
Extreme games like crysis 3?
Also isn't 1gb RAM of 730 supposed to be inferior to 630's 2gb?

Okay, my monitor resolution is 1366x768 and maybe in the near future I'm planning to buy a 1080p display...
Is my configuration decent and efficient price-wise?
