Best Headphones Under $200

the m50x is overpriced at the $160-170 asking price as the dt770 is similar but better for this cost. the m50s which is the older model can be had for $99-110 and is great at the price range for people looking for a bassier pair of closed cans (i own a pair).

if you do not like the amount of bass the m50's put out then you may want to consider not going with a pair of cans in the bassy class. you may also want to consider and open pair of headphones which are by design less bassy.

as far as the best headphone under 200, i would say likely the beyerdynamic dt990 however it needs an amp which would inflate the total cost by a large margin and also makes it not so good for portability so i am not putting it in as a suggestion. they are legendary for comfort though.
