Lenovo laptop wont start

face saying there's a problem and then it restarts, i'm not sure what the problem is or how to fix it

Welcome to Tom's Guide Forums,
I'll suggest attempting to boot into "safe mode with networking" by continually pressing Shift+F8 after starting (hold shift, tap the crap out of F8) - sometimes that can get you into safe mode in Win8, this article may help http

Once in safe mode go here http/support.lenovo.com/us/en/lenovodiagnosticsolutions see if you can run the diagnostics. You may need to create a bootable disk to run that though (not real sure)
In BIOS there is a setting to allow the PC to restart normally after a problem event or to report the event you may want to change the setting to have it report the problem...
