how to increase the graphics performance of my dell vostro 1720

Am using dell vostro 1720
4gb ram
Intel celeron
mobile Intel(R) 4 series express chipset family
generic PnP monitor
but I still have problems playing some games

That's because the Intel graphics chip does not meet the minimum specifications for many of the latest games.
That's why keen gamers either buy a gaming laptop (like the Dell Alienware range) or a desktop PC in which they can install a high-performance graphics card to keep up with the requirements of the latest resource-hungry games.

With a standard laptop no way can you expect to play any game you choose, you're stuck with whatever graphics chip the laptop ships with.

There's a heat issue with laptops too. Gameplay generates more heat (components working harder) and the small confines of a laptop interior are hardly ideal for keeping the components at safe temperatures. This leads to crashes, instability or even sudden...
