I've read through some of the other threads on this issue, but none seem to apply to my situation. I noticed that the laptop, which is 4 years old, won't charge. The green light on the charger doesn't light up, so I figured the charger died. Got a replacement charger, and it still won't charge (the battery charge light does not light up). Tested the charger and am getting 19+ volts at the input jack. How do I tell if this is a bad battery vs. being a bad charging port connection?

Does the PC boot up without battery? If not than the jack/connection on your motherboard is broken.
