Laptop is charging, when you push the power button, the charging light goes off, and the laptop does not come on? You pull the charging plug out and plug it back in and it lights back up. Then try powering the laptop again and it does the same thing?? Please help.................

From the description, I would be inclined to conclude your power jack or power distribution has a short. Are you able to run the laptop on battery only?
Power jack issues are common on portable devices (not just laptops), so common that some companies specialize in their repair
