Hey I decided since I'm graduating might be time to get myself a laptop for school and gaming.

Right now all I have is a PC I built myself and it's a little cumbersome. Whenever I want to bring my tech to a conference, meeting or to a friends house all I have is my tablet. I want a laptop able to run for school programs and gaming. Some games want to be able to play (even if low settings): CS:GO, Arma III, BF4 or BFH, L4D2 ect. I know some of these games are graphics intensive but I am willing to run it as low as I can. Right now I don't really have a price range however under $1300-1000 would be good.

Specs preferred:
Windows 7, not willing to go to Windows 8
HDD has to be at least 350 GB
RAM at least 5-6 GB
Graphics card not integrated
Lastly a manufacturer that has a good rep
(Not looking for custom build)

Thanks!

hello there most new laptops have windows 8 on them and if you try to install windows 7 on them some of the hardware and software wont work right my cousin had just bought a laptop off a guy it had windows 7 on it and none of the usb ports worked i found out by looking at the bottom of the laptop its supposed to have windows 8 when i formatted and installed windows 8 the usb ports worked but now back to the topic at hand i can not recommend any laptops that come installed with windows 7 unfortunately and with it about to lose support it will be obsolete so any laptops that have windows 7 are gonna be older models now i can recommend the laptop i just bought
