Looking to find a way to set up my sound bar so that I can control the sound bar volume using the tv remote, currently im the samsung remote for volume and tv remote for everything else.

If you are using an optical link to the sound bar, the TV won't change it for volume. You might be able to switch to an analog output from the TV which can be controlled by the TV volume. But it might be the case that you can't disable the speakers on the TV when you crank the volume.

Your best bet might be a programmable remote if your current TV remote isn't programmable.
