Samsung smart hub Hard wired in but still not connecting to modem

Solution
I have had multiple SAMSUNG Blu-Ray players connected wirelessly to a Verizon Router(FIOS) to access the internet for Netflix, HBOGo, etc. today the players stopped accessing the internet, but still connect wirelessly to my router. I attempted to enter a DNS using the manual settings, thinking DHCP problem, no joy there. I have examined my FIOS router settings, I do not have any thing set that would block those particular devices, and Samsung tablets Samsung TVs, and Galaxy phones still connect wirelessly to the FIOS router and access the Internet. My conclusion is Blu-Ray players and something to do with gateway and DNS usage by the Blu-Ray player. I have two other players that I have not yet examined, but fear the worst. Samsung...

Good news? It's global. Not your tv
Bad News? Samsung will not admit it. "Engineers are aware" with no details.
Quick news search shows one site with a work around, pointing the DNS to some IP in Europe. Try at your own risk.
Had my case escalated, now they will not even tell me if/how I will be notified of the fix, just "Please check after some time"

Samsung changed something, and now the Internet access is stepped on.
If anyone knows somebody at Samsung, please pass this along.
