Pretty sure it happened after installing Windows 7, 99% sure there was no problem before that.

Okay so assuming you didn't drop it kick it etc etc lol. First off lets try by uninstalling the graphics card diver and re installing it and tell me if that does anything

Haha I've felt like doing it trying to solve the problem! Right, so uninstall the NVIDIA GeForce Card?

The graphics card driver, i wouldn't try taking the laptop apart lol, Though I'm assuming it's a igpu (intregrated graphics card) and not a discrete graphics card

If it's a igpu you have to uninstall it by going into Device manger and uninstalling it there I believe the other one will be in uninstall a program and just be under nvidia. I'm not to familiar with laptops

Okay, I've uninstalled the NVIDIA GeForce 840m Graphics Card. The only Display Adapter running is:

Intel HD Graphics Family

Driver Version: 10.18.10.3960

Alright now, that has happen has anything different happened? If not try installing the graphics card driver again and rebooting your PC. So I was wrong it is a discrete graphics card lol

You might want to reformat and reinstall windows again, a file might of corrupted while you installed windows.

If it still happen when using the integrated card, installin the driver for nvidia wont fix it..

Looking at the list of drivers here:

Model: Aspire V3-572PG

Would it make much difference installing the Intel VGA Driver (10.18.10.3383) and then disabling the one running now?

So before we go and jump to reinstalling windows lets go with this for now. open up command pomp in admin and type this into it
sfc /scannow so we can check if there is corrupted windows files

Can make a separate partition if he doesnt have an extra drive to save it too

Scan complete, doesn't seem to be any problems:

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
