Solution
I would NEVER buy any device from iBuypower or CyberPowerPC. I see an extremely high number of problem units, both here on Tom's, around the web and through my daily servicing of units, plus a relatively poor accounting when it comes to customer service from those snake oil salesmen. I would recommend buying from an OEM that has good quality and good customer service like HP, Dell or Lenovo.

Most OEM's have units with options from the most basic, to the highest end hardware available in any machine, plus customer care programs that far exceed what any of the "custom" vendors offer. There are of course a couple of exceptions to that rule. The Sager custom units are usually well built, but since they're sold by third party vendors in most cases, you are again at the mercy of the vendor warranty program and most of these type units don't offer warranties that extend beyond what the seller provides except on a subscription basis which you'll have to pay for additionally. In other words, once the warranty from the vendor is over, don't bother contacting Sager about it unless you have a subscription based support contract.

What are your priorities for this laptop, from most to least important, and what country are you in?

Funny. You have no idea what the OP intends to use the unit for, what country they are in or if they want a cooking grill for a laptop. Most current units on the market with dual GPU's get so hot they rarely last past a year or if they DO have sufficient cooling to deal with dual GPUs plus a capable CPU, are so loud as to be unusable without headphones.

Furthermore, it may not even be for gaming, or intended for extreme gaming, in which case a dual GPU solution is clearly unnecessary. I would never buy a laptop with dual GPUs considering the majority of current gaming units struggle mightily with battery life. In a case where the unit will always be plugged in, a portable mini-ITX or microATX unit might be a better choice.

Oh I must have misread I assumed since OP said iBuyPower he was looking for a laptop specifically for gaming.
Sorry for the misunderstanding

If you wanted to strictly go with ASUS:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=9514704&SRCCODE=WEBGOOPA&scid=scplp1904806&gclid=Cj0KEQiAvKunBRCfsum9z6fu_5IBEiQAu4lg4v06DjLHnDBuN9jfeOosWCzgIwvIV0bn21wxA9tgp9saAidV8P8HAQ

Though if your budget was $4000 Id go with the MSI
With this ASUS you have a GTX980M, which is still very powerful but with the MSI you get two GTX980's and the highest end i7 CPU available in the mobile market

So you will obviously have alot more power with the MSI, but arguably it is also $1200 more expensive, but as your budget is $4000 I would go with the MSI,
No doubt
In a gaming laptop, I would not expect battery power you could still most likely get maybe 5 hours but this is with lower brightness, etc.
Gaming Laptops have very high powered parts that require alot of power to run

So, I wouldn't exactly call a 17" laptop very MOBILE, although they are getting thinner and lighter all the time. Do you have an inclination one way or the other regarding 15" versus 17" units? Do you feel your intended usage requires dual discreet GPUs or is a single high end GPU probably sufficient. Consider that aside from gaming or multiple 4k external monitor configurations there is really not much that can be done on a laptop that in any way would necessitate a dual GPU solution.
