A question about sound.

So few months ago i purchased ATH-M50x and the sound on my phone is awesome, i like it but the thing that is bothering me a little bit is that on my computer the sound is weird and not enjoyable like on my iPhone 6. So im guessing its probably because i have no special sound card, im just using a b85 motherboard. What should i upgrade to get better quality for when i listen to music on my PC ?

this is probably due to your pc having rather poor integrated sound. some integrated cards perform fine while others sound horrible. it sounds like yours is not one of the pleasant sounding kinds.

if you upgraded to a better soundcard you should note a decent improvment in terms of sound quality.

the xonar dx or creative z are excellent cards worth noting and will be quite an improvement over poor integrated although if those are a bit too high priced for you even the cheap xonar dg should provide an improvement.
