Your hardware:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50GHz
Video card Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
VRAM 1.8 GB
Pixel Shader 5.0
DirectX 11
RAM 3.9 GB
OS Windows 7 Home Premium(SP1)

I just did a analysis on checkreq.com and this is the results that showed up as the hardware that is remaining on my laptop; I have an HP Pavilion g series laptop.

I really want to purchase the Sims 4 but I don't want to waste my money and have the same hassle that I did with Sims 3. Can more than one person guarantee to me that my problems that occurred in Sims 3 won't on Sims 4 due to what my system contains?

What happened when I played the sims 3 is that it would take an aweful time to load everything and it was super slow most of the time and it would close the window by itself and say "Windows has stopped working the sims 3. We are trying to find a solution to this etc" and I don't want to purchase the sims 4 if the same thing will happen. Help!

Solution
No. HD 3000 graphics is not sufficient to play Sims 4 at any decent playable settings. You need Intel HD 4600, AMD R6, minimum. A discreet GPU like GTX 820 or higher, or R7 or higher would be preferable.
