It would appear that your CPU is a BGA meaning it is soldered onto the motherboard and it cannot be upgraded. http

in this case can i get the motherboard upgraded ? and the processor along with it?
It would be far cheaper and much simpler to just buy a whole new laptop. If you do try to upgrade the motherboard, which is pretty much like 80% of the laptop, you would essentially be taking your laptop's old monitor and moving it over to a new laptop. And the only motherboards that would work with your current laptop's monitor are those of the same brand and series, so you would have to find a better board within the Dell Inspiron 15r series. Also, you would have to re-install Windows since it will not work with your new motherboard because you changed to a different BIOS. Even if all that works, your warranty would be gone. If it were me, I'd just sell the Dell and then buy a new one. If you want a laptop you can upgrade, get something from the MSI barebones (whitebook) line. You can fully customize your order to any CPU, GPU, RAM, HDD, SSD combo you want and probably even upgrade it one day assuming you don't get all high end stuff. http
