Hi guys! I was just wondering what would be the best way to upgrade my laptop. It came equipped with an Intel i5 dual core processor with 2.5GHz, 4GB of RAM, and a 500GB SATA hard drive (5400 rpm). Sometimes my computer will get really slow when opening up programs. For example when I open up simple programs such as Microsoft Word it can sometimes take 2-3 minutes to open up and my computer will usually freeze for the time being. I do some light gaming on this computer too and it can be frustrating having to wait so long for the games to load, or even start up. I want to be able to upgrade my system so this doesn't happen anymore. I know that for MacBooks really the only way to upgrade them is to either upgrade to a SSD or get more RAM, but I was just wondering how much of a change this would actually make? Is it worth it to dish out the money to upgrade to a SSD and 8GB+ of RAM?
