Battery problem charging up to 90%

hi,
i have a HP Laptop DV6 - 6115 eg, it is 3 years old and does charge the battery up to 90 , 91 %.
is my battery died? or going to die, any sugesstion?

It's by no means dead or it wouldn't charge at all, but it is starting to show signs of not being able to hold a full charge, and that's very common as it happens to all rechargeable batteries eventually. No need to panic if it's managing 90% but it will gradually get worse.

It's your call whether you decide to replace it now or just keep an eye on it, but it's still managing 90% so I wouldn't scrap it yet.

It is common many laptops nowadays not to fully charge the battery,it has to do with keeping the battery lifespan extend little longer,batteries have a lifespan that it is calculated from full charge circle,so that is why it is not fully charges your battery.
