Is it possible to hook up a Pioneer receiver, JVC DVD player and Samsung VCR to my new Magnavox HDMI TV & cable box?

I also have cable, so the HDMI cable is connected to cable box. I bought a splitter for the red/white/yellow cords. Sound through receiver works, but no picture through DVD player. Any help is appreciated. Let me know if additional info needed.

Sure it is. It all depends on your inputs and outputs. It will work much easier if it's all HDMI but will still work fine if it's not. What kind of outputs do you have for the cable box and DVD? What kind of inputs do you have on the receiver? What output does the receiver have? Do you have model numbers for any of the equipment? If not, snap some pictures and post them.

Basically, you want everything connected to the receiver and the receiver to have ONE connection, that being an HDMI, going to your TV set.
