Hey everybody. I've been cleaning out my computer, getting rid of files, updating drivers you know the drill. I've also noticed that my boot up times are somewhat slow. So I decided to do ms config and try to stop unnecessary programs to boot on on start such as Skype and Media Monkey. As I am going through my programs I notice a program called. "ES lite Services for program management." and at first I didn't really care because I figured it was something from my motherboard (Gigabyte 970A-D3) but I noticed that the manufacturer was unknown. So I go and check my Gigabyte folder under x86 files and under the Easy Saver folder i see a eslite.exe. and essvr.exe. Also under that folder there is another Easy Saver folder and when I open it, I see a config file called vernifo.cfg

I have Avast! free and Malwarebytes premium and I have done a scan every night before I go to sleep and so far neither of them have picked up anything

I'm just worried because if it was something that gigabyte made shouldn't it have the manufacturers name by the program while under system config?

Hello,
No worries, checked on few sites, it's completely legal, Gigabyte's product. Used for some energy savings or somewhat. No worries, since it's already under Gigabyte's folder.

Regards.

Thank you very much! I figured it was but I was just second guessing since under the system start up it had a unknown manufacturer

You're welcome. It's fine, I guess it's company's fault for not setting that up, but since it's under Gigabyte's folder, as I said, you're completely safe.

Regards.
