alienware drivers for GTX 660M

Alienware 17inch Windows 7 Ult 64bit. Can't see laptop display, but can hook up laptop to HDMI on my TV and display is ok. Wondering why this is?

It's not a driver issue if the screen is black. If external displays work okay, it's very likely the screen's backlight that's blown.
Shine a torch close to the screen with laptop running. If you see a faint image, it's the backlight for sure. Needs a new one fitting.
