Hi, I have ordered a new laptop, a Lenovo IdeaPad Z50-70. It doesn't came with windows pre-installed, so i also bought a copy. This might seem stupid but i am new to this. From what i saw in an unboxing video, the laptop comes with a driver cd. Do I install the drivers after or before installing windows? Also, what do i find on the driver CD, a single program with one easy installation , or do i have to choose what things to install ? Thank you.

You will install Windows first. Windows will do a lot of the driver installation for you but sometimes it doesn't have them so that is what the drivers disk is for. I usually install Windows, then run all the windows updates and then see what I am missing. Sometimes it won't connect to the internet wirelessly because it doesn't have the drivers but pop the disk in and look for Network, LAN, Wireless or something like that and there should be something in there for your wireless card. Once that's installed you can connect to the internet and do the windows updates. I also like to go to the manufacturers site and get the latest drivers as they should have the best ones for your laptop. But anyway, this should get you started, good luck.
