A few hours ago, my wall charger stopped working. My ASUS notebook is now at 57% and I am beginning to worry more than I previously was. When it first stopped working a few hours ago, if I twisted the long cord and held it at a certain angle, my laptop would charge. That doesn't work anymore either. The green light that indicates charging won't go on when I plug it in and my battery is dying. I don't exactly know the exact type I have because it was only available at Best Buy for a limited time... I have the box, but it doesn't say the exact version on it. There's no way I can open the bottom of my laptop either, unless I have a very tiny screw driver. Help if you can, please!

I'm working as an IT-tech and people often come with this problem. If you have electronics hardware store somewhere near or just a place that sells computers and stuff, take it to there, I'm more than sure they'll have a universal charger and if the socket is broken, then they'll test it there, do not try to fix this on your own as you can screw something up pretty bad. Remember to take your charger to the store with you. If you're not certain if it's the socket or the charger, ask the employees to test the charger first.

Thanks for the tip! I'll try that in the morning.
