should I really spend the money to buy antivirus? how come? if so, which one? looking for a good price or if there's a free antivirus that's reliable. I have CCleaner and malwarebytes installed on my computer now.

I'm trying Trend Micro right now. In my opinion, if you're careful with what you're doing you'll be fairly safe. I've been using MSE for the longest time, and though I have ran into a couple of malwares, I was able to contain the damage done.

Though if you have kids at home or multiple users, I'd say it is always better to invest in some kind of anti-virus software. Though their internet/full package is usually an overkill.

Personally I am a huge fan of Avast! Its free, is very reliable, and I have personally used it to remove viruses from many computers of the last few years. Its "Boot time scan"mode is extremely powerful. (AGAIN ITS FREE, but does have paid versions).

Microsoft Security Essentials are good too. Even if you are careful you should ALWAYS have virus scan software. I also getting Malwarebytes anti-malware and running that once every 2 weeks to remove any malware.

Right now, i'm using Panda Cloud Free and i'm very happy with the results. I already tested it and it works.

It's very light for the system and has good features.

I tried avast and didn't like it. Has good features but it's quite heavy for an free A/V.
