Panasonic Soundbar Vizio TV via HDMI ARC

Connected with HDMI ARC compatible cable to HDMI ARC on sound bar and TV. No sound. I can get sound via bluetooth so soundbar works. Went thru Vizio support and followed settings instructions - no luck. Next step is to buy optical cable but thought I would check with you all -thanks

Hi, My roommate had the same problem. My solution was to dig up some old red and white audio cables. Problem solved

glad i am notthe only one - not red white on sound bar but ther e is optical cable - so that will be my next step unless someone else has an answer

Make sure HDMI cable is 1.4 if youre unsure go buy one. ARC is only supported with 1.4 HDMI.
