I am needing a new laptop on a budget and I think I have it narrowed down to these two. The HP 15-f111DX, http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QHDO51E/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2HY4VHGX88ZLR&coliid=IEI83BZH0XRJD, and the Acer Aspire E5-571-56UQ, http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K2O4PCI/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2HY4VHGX88ZLR&coliid=IF6T0TSJ8E52C&psc=1.

I would be using it for office work (Word, excel, powerpoint, etc) and web browsing and watching vidoes. No real video or photo editing. Maybe play some basic , older games on them. Nothing very new or graphic intensive or anything. Are either of those worth the prices on them and if so is the acer worth the extra $70? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Actually, the Acer has a better GPU since its a newer Intel HD integrated GPU generation (http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-8210.93728.0.html). If you look at the ranking and performance of the HD 8210 in the AMD laptop, it performs a lower speed than the Intel HD 4400. Additionally, the processor in the Acer outperforms the AMD.

The Acer is DEFINITELY worth the extra $70 for general tasks and even older games.
