Looking for a good laptop for college

Hello all,

I am looking for a laptop to help me through college. I have a desktop, but I need something portable that I can take notes and stuff on. It doesn't need to be very powerful, because I will be doing most of my work on my desktop. I just need something that I can use to take notes and use on the go, and also be able to watch movies on in 1080p. I also maybe want to be able to play some games for when I travel and don't have my desktop, but I don't care too much about settings and I have plenty of old games, so this isn't much of an issue. I kind of like the 2 in 1's like the lenovo yoga line, because if I am going to watch movies or videos on it, I would prefer to do that in tablet mode. However, if it isn't a 2 in 1, I don't care if it has a touchscreen. I'm only a junior in high school now, but I want to start looking now cause when I get it, I don't want to spend much more than $600, and if I get one in a year that is new right now, then it will be fairly cheap. Also, I don't want a mac, cause I don't like os x. I really like the new lenovo yoga 3 14, but if there are any better options out there I would love some suggestions.
