I was just organizing my stuff and I wanted to get my music on, so I plugged my personal speakers, and then took out the AUX cord, and while I was like looking for the hole on my laptop, I accidentally hit the USB Port, not really the inside part of it, just the metallic thing outside and it just happens that my Laptop suddenly died and it won't turn on. I tried to smell if something was burnt, but no and even the port looks normal. Any advice please? Help me community! ):

FYI: My Laptop's model is ASUS X555L Series which the battery isn't really detachable. It's enclosed.

Yes it was on. I'm at work today. I'll try it later my good, sir. Just want to make it clear, 15 minutes of holding the power button right? Thank you so much. I'll keep you posted with this one. I hope it works :)

Alright, my good sir. May I just know, since I'm not yet home. Uhmm, what's with ASUS laptops that you need to hold the power button even if it's unplugged? I just want to know the reason behind it. Cause I don't know if the laptop has its battery charged? Cause even when I plug my charger with it, the indicator doesn't light at all. Could it still work if that's the case?

That was a reponse I saw in a similar situation about a year ago and it worked for the guy, somthing about dissipating charge from the laptop tha may be there, then when power applied and you start it up running clean power through out....thought it odd, but it worked for that OP, so figure worth a try

Understood. Just in case sir, what should I do if it doesn't work out that way? Maybe an hour from now, I hope you're still there. Cause I'll try what you've advised till then. Thanks again!
